The game of bowls has much to offer. Joining our club will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and have a lot of fun. It certainly doesn’t matter if you have not been involved in any sport. Many bowlers haven’t, but they still make good bowlers. You will find no shortage of help from other members of the club. New bowlers often feel reluctant to get involved in competitive games early on. However, once you are reasonably confident about delivering a bowl in roughly the direction you are aiming for, then get involved in competitive Bowls by putting your name down for matches – you will be warmly welcomed into any match situation.
You may also choose to become a social member and enjoy the facilities of the club.

Coaching
The equipment required to get started need not be expensive. A pair of flat soled bowling shoes and a second hand set of bowls can be found quite readily.
Members are happy to pass on their knowledge or point you in the right direction to find further help.
